The bold, the beautiful & the down right ugly!

Everyday we think about beautifying ourselves. Be it in the form of simple cleansing of the face to everyday makeup, from the much needed haircut to the missed manicure appointment. But sometimes a person wonders; are these things necessary for a person to be beautiful? Or are these social evils we’re forcing upon ourselves?

Here I must clarify, I am in no way against beautifying one’s self. In fact, I am very much devoted to it. The point I’m trying to make here is that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and we must learn to appreciate it in ourselves and others. There is absolutely no harm in taking care of one’s beauty, but even for doing that you need to accept and recognize that beauty first. Hence, the title: “The bold, the beautiful & the down right ugly!” Which I must confess is inspired by Maha Khan Philips’ novel.

So anyways, I would like to dedicate this post to: BEAUTY, IN ALL ITS MANIFESTATIONS! Cheers!
