We witnessed the Lunar Eclipse at it’s best here on 10th December ’11. It was said that the Sun, Earth and Moon fell almost exactly in line, giving the moon an orangish hue. It was a very rare sight, that’s all I can say.
Lunar eclipses are fairly common occurrences in astronomical terms, with millions turning their heads to the sky last December to witness one such event. But eclipses are spectacular and it is certainly worth a bit of time to go and look at it.
