As someone who loves being pampered and is crazy about trying out new things, you can imagine my excitement when I received the invitation from Lotus PR for Glitter & Gold Blow Dry and Nail Color ServiceatL’OréalProfessionnel Academy as well as an exclusive trial of L’Oréal Souffle d’Or Shampoo & Conditioner from their Mythic Oil range.

When I first got the invitation from Dove & Golin Harris for an exclusive sneak peak of their upcoming product range Dove Damage Solutions – Intense Repair with Keratin Actives, I was quite excited to find out what they have in store. I have previously tried the Dove Hair Fall Rescue range and found it to be satisfying, so I was eager to discover what had they come up with this time around. Continue reading →
Thankfully not everyone went as cuckoo as Miley Cyrus that night, and we still got to see a decent amount of decency! Honestly, white trash never looked this bad! I know it’s just a little too late, BUT, to help everyone, mainly myself, get over her not-so-forgettable performance, I decided to compile a best dressed list for MTV VMA 2013. Continue reading →
To say that the event was an improvement from the 2012 version would be a vast understatement. Not only was it much larger in scale, it also had added features this time around. The Beauty Awards segment specifically added much value to Veet Celebration of Beauty 2013 by turning it into a star-studded evening.
Needless to say; the Pink Carpet, as they like to call it, saw quite a number of celebrity appearances. From models to actresses, from singers to designers, all were in attendance. Some basking in their glory, while others wilted like a bunch of flowers unkempt.
Hence, I decided to compile a list of the best-dressed beauties and the worst dressed beasts.
L’Oréal Professionnel launched Fiberceutic – another breakthrough in hair care technology on June 7, 2012 at PC, Karachi. The event was attended by industry experts, socialites and beauty bloggers alike. For more information on the launch refer to my previous post here.

Fab, fabulous, fabulousness. That’s TGIF summed up in three words.
We had a little one on one with Zainab Masood – The creator of Thank God I’m Fabulous about the brand, her inspirations and the Eid collection that was completely sold out on their first exhibition. Kudos to that!
TGIF is a fun, fashion-forward and alternative clothing label. Centred around bold illustrated tops in quirky prints and statement colors, TGIF isn’t for the faint-hearted! Featuring a superb range of edgy and unique graphic prints, here you will see a lot of love for comics, retro pin-ups, vintage and kitschy oddities and desi pop art- along with a number of other things that are sure to make you happy!
If you have a twisted sense of humor and like alternative fashion, you will fit right in with TGIF Continue reading →
My first thought about the collection was; vintage with a little show of skin are the perfect ingredients for a hit collection.
Tatmain was bringing sexy back, literally, with the cutwork back jumpsuit. However, my favorite pieces were the saree worn by Fauzia and the choli worn by Saba Sikander. One of the reasons why I liked Zari’s debut collection “Plush”, was the excessive use of corals, which happens to be one of my favorite colors. Even though I think she could have made use of a variety of prints instead of that one particular floral that she used to make skirts, blouses, tops, dresses & God knows what not!
