Veet Celebration of Beauty 2013: The good, the bad and the downright ugly!

To say that the event was an improvement from the 2012 version would be a vast understatement. Not only was it much larger in scale, it also had added features this time around. The Beauty Awards segment specifically added much value to Veet Celebration of Beauty 2013 by turning it into a star-studded evening.

Needless to say; the Pink Carpet, as they like to call it, saw quite a number of celebrity appearances. From models to actresses, from singers to designers, all were in attendance. Some basking in their glory, while others wilted like a bunch of flowers unkempt.

Hence, I decided to compile a list of the best-dressed beauties and the worst dressed beasts.

Black Star by Avril Lavigne Review

I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my head. Well, maybe minus the flowers but you get the drift, right? And this is one perfume that surely makes me feel like a punk rocker. Today I’ll be reviewing Black Star by Avril Lavigne, which a very dear friend of mine got for me while she was returning from Scotland.

Black Star is the first signature fragrance by Avril Lavigne, and is exactly what you’d expect it to be: edgy and individualistic. As Avril herself said: “It’s all about being edgy and feminine in a fun way!”

Veet Celebration of Beauty 2013: And the nominees are..

Just 3 days to go! As Veet’s renowned fashion event “Veet Celebration of Beauty 2013” will be held on 24th August, 2013 in Karachi.

What’s different this time around is the fact that there will be a special Beauty Awards segment comprising of 8 categories, along with the fashion show & other performances. And that’s not it!
